should take like 2 secs lol turn ur xbox off then unplug ur modem for oabout 10 sec then plug it in and then wait about 20 sec then turn it on and it should work

hmm… that’s really weird.
Make sure that you typed in the subscription code correctly.
Make sure that you entered in all the information required.
When i activate xbox live gold… it works straight away..
Look at your gamer-tag… if it has a gold stip above your name.. then that means that you have gold. If its Silver, then you havn’t activated your xbox live gold subscription successfully. Try again. . .
And make sure that the subscription code hasn’t expired.

Simple answer to your question is this…
XBox Live (XBL) is the paid service where you can play games online, usually with other gamers.
XBox Arcade is a ‘model’ of the XBox 360 system which is a stripped down version of the XBox 360 Pro.
XBL is the same for all three XBox 360 systems, but XBox Arcade is just the one system of the three types.

you should get an pro system. xbox live is a online service in which you pay to play multi-player games online.
the arcade comes with A 52 MB memory card, which is not enough space to save your profiles and all your game files. some games require more space to save then a memory card can handle. Memory cards only come in once size. The cheapest hardrive you can buy to add on is $100, or if you buy the pro system, it comes with a 60gig hard drive. You also need a hard drive to create an xbox live account.
You can also download additional content for some games from the xbox marketplace. You can’t save all these files on a memory card. You will need the hard drive.

Xbox Live lets you buy games on xbox arcade I believe, but Live you play with tons of people across the nation. Xbox arcade is just a place you go to and download mini games, something like pacman, and tetris, stuff like that.

In regards to your question, if money isn’t really an issue Turtle Beach Headset for Xbox 360 is probably the best money can buy. The second best headset that I’d recommend is the official Xbox 360 wireless headset, as it’s very durable and holds its charge for quite some time. If buying online isn’t an issue, using Newegg for your headset can save you quite a lot of money.
